seriously, i haven't died. i'm truly alive. T-T;; for the time being. i'm so sorry i haven't updated my gallery! i can't believe its been two whole weeks! its disgraceful. i'm ashamed!
i've been terribly busy for some reason! i've been needed at work, where finding a reliable secretary is difficult to come by. apparently, i'm an expert at filing papers and splitting checks?? its rather boring work, actually. ;-; but i've made a lot of money! these past few weeks, i've been rewarded with over two hundred dollars! ^3^V
to make things more hectic, i've started driving school! ugh. i'm so afraid to drive. its not like i'm going to get a nice car, and plus, there's no where to drive to... where i live, its all mansions and meadows!! the closest mall is a half hour away... but driving school is every day for four hours, and i've been studying hard!
and i have a cold sore. T-T; its not fair, my skin is usually clear! not to mention the cute childhood friend i sit beside in driving school has to see it... i hate this situation! </3

"the series focuses on three main characters - haine, badou, and naoto- as they search for a way 'below' in a dystopian world of extreme violence, genetic manipulation and other cruel scientific experiments." i am so in love with this series!! i've never seen anything like it! its beautifully drawn with such clean lineart and amazing character design. honestly the plot is a bit difficult to understand, but the more you read, the more it becomes clear. everything about it is stylish and cool, its a definite must-read for anyone who enjoys the right mixture of blood, sweat, and tears!
*** nana by ai yazawa
(currently on chapter 12)
"the manga derives its title from the name of the two main characters, both of whom are called nana. what sets them apart however, is the stark difference between their personalities. one nana has a childlike innocence and tends to lose touch with reality, while the other is a strong, self-confident singer in a punk band." another amazingly drawn manga with a unique style. this series has really grown on me, its such an emotional roller coaster!! both nanas go through hard times in their lives, but are always there for each other in the end! a well-loved shoujo story that has tons of comedy, drama, and friendship! (also, please check out the live action movie, its amazing!!)

"when a young girl, fuu, saves two swordsmen, mugen and jin, from the death sentence, they are in her debt. they go on a journey to find 'the samurai who smells of sunflowers', and along the way, find out that they had more in common than they originally thought." my favorite series of all time, samurai champloo. a most amazing anime series that mixes old japan with the hip-hop culture of today!! each character is totally different but lovable in their own way. the animation is remarkable, each fight scene is a masterpiece in itself! i cried during the last episode. the plot is creativity to the max!!
**** ouran highschool host club by yakuya igarashi
"at the rich and decadent ouran highschool, a low income student named haruhi is enrolled. she stumbles in the third music room, where a group of six beautiful boys welcome her. after breaking their expensive vase, haruhi must pay the host club back by becoming a host herself!" i'm still amazed with how popular this little series has become! each character is so awesome in their own way, and each episode made me yearn for more. its full of adorable comedy, love tension, and the bond of the host club! a shoujo series at its best. not to mention the pretty boys!
*** eureka seven by tomoki kyoda
"this series tells the story of renton thurston and the outlaw group gekkostate, his relationship with the enigmatic mecha pilot eureka, and the mystery of the coralians. what will earth do with fate rested in the hands of this amateur hero?" another beautifully drawn anime series! everything about it is colorful, futuristic, and full of life. even with the complicated plot, we still see each character go through growth and development. what i love about this series is how things progress in a realistic way, with enough plot-filled episodes to move the story along, but just the right amount of down-time to make you laugh and fall in love with the characters! a must-see for mech lovers!
**** last exile by koichi chigira
"the story revolves around claus and lavie, two young vanship couriers, and their adventures in the floating world of prester. they find themselves involved in a plot surrounding a mysterious little girl named alvis, whom they must deliver as 'cargo' to the much-feared battleship, silvana." (i can't believe i forgot to add this series! i own it!!) this is one amazing story with the most beautiful animation you will ever see. the art style, by range murata, is so intricate and unique and gives detail to even the smallest characters. each episode carries the plot along nicely, and i was never left disappointed when watching! and despite the war, drama, and sadness that is a constant theme in the series, the ending is a happy and beautiful relief! it made me cry!
