Artist's Commentsdownload for the full image wow, it's really been a long time since i submitted something to deviant art... *__* i drew this about a year ago, but i never got around to putting it up. this picture is based on yoko's "dream" during one of the last episodes of gurren lagann. i really love this pairing and i thought it was sad that their relationship was cut short. ;__; <3 the background took me sooo long. this is the first time i've ever done a detailed background, so i took a lot of care in the smoke and fading colors. i tried to use a more artistic style to make it seem like a portrait, but also a screencap. ^^ about the image [] sketched w/ pencil [] inked & colored on photoshop cs2 |
